First of all, ***a happy new year*** to all of you all over the world!
I appreciate that you come back every so often to read and comment my blog.

So, whats new?
There is, again much going on this Year. I have tons of custom toys i want to release this year, including the andoid, the mate by artist “Das Mo”, a quee bunny and the Boombox by artist Jasin Dollin.
I also want to release a designer toy which i created together with Timo “Das Mo” in the end of November 2011.

Furthermore there will be definitely one show this Year.
The show takes place in Port Perry (Ontario) October 2012. it´s gonna be a collaboration-show called “Under your bed” with my friend Andres Musta.

I am looking forward to all the things to master, and keep you updated on all the upcoming news.

Oh, before i forget to post that, last time i told you about the Skateboardschool i was invited as a guest artist.
I accomplished a collaboration board with one of the students “Kid Squid”.
It is a Slurg/Tentakel-arm-worm-Battle and came out really nice.
I enjoyd doing that board and am looking forward to the second collaboration.

From now on, sorry German friends, my blog will only appear in english language.
In this case its easier for me, to write and post more frequently. Not because i dont like you anymore, but because i have to type anything twice. And I am not the big writer anyway.

So, as the most of you already now, i made my way to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
That is finally what i mean, when you hear me saying “home” now.

The time started out to be a really good one. I met lots of nice people and put myself to work by starting a new custom.

I met Craig Morrison who is the teacher of the “#1 on the Toronto Star’s “Coolest Schools” List
(March 17, 2011)”, The Oasis Skateboard Factory.
He invited me out to his first class for the start of the semester. Craig basically teaches them streetart and board design and wanted me to show his sudents some of my slurgs, and talk a bit. More pics after the click

To the end of the semester, i will do a collaboration with one of the students on a skateboard.
If i get the chance i will make a board myselfand to paint, display, ride or sell.

And not to forgett, we started preparing the Stickershow on Monday and continuing tomorrow at the Baitshop for the Nuitblanche which takes place from saturday oct.1, 2011 till sunrise oct 2nd, 2011.

Everyone is invited to come by and take a look at the largest sticker collection Worldwide (i suppose).
Seriously, I have never seen such a huge amount of unique stickers everywhere else.
Stickers and pasteups from all over the World are on display.
You can draw or bring your own sticker and put it up on the wall or share with the stickers existing.

Its gonna be huge, and im happy to be a part of that.

Enough for now, you shall hear from me more often in the next time. I will keep you posted.

Today in Germany runs a huge wave of “Ein ♥ für Blogs” through all blogs. Every blogger is showing other people some blogs they read, follow or just enjoy. (initiated by Kai Müller aka Stylespion)
Im not big at that whole blogosphere thing and also not really part of it, but i do follow other blogs, and i do enjoy it. So im gonna jin that event with some of my favorite blogs.

Slurg-Font

Finally it happened, the Slurg got his own font. I creativately named him Slurg font.
The font is completely written and created by my own. Attached you find some pretty font samples.

Slurg.de hack-attack

Yesterday, around 6:00pm my server system got a hack-attack.
I had luck cause i made a backup just the morning before, so no real damage could be done.

Usually im on the hackers side, cause i find it funny to see when hackers leave some little messages,
funny pictures or doing some other crazy stuff.
However, what happend in the end is nothing really bad. The Hacker just replaced the index pages with an extremely misserable graphic, underlayed with russian marshmusic, which introduces him as an “happy” turk and muslime.

As long as the hackers are nerdy freaks, who have nothing better to do, than hacking random pages, i can defenetly laugh, but not if there are sitting some fanatic religions who wanna tell everyone about there religious oppinion, which noone cares about anyways. But the worst thing for me is, that exactely acting like that falls back to them and their religion and throws all of them into the mudd. ( Don´t even know if you can say that in english…)
But the graphic ofcourse i don´t wanna keep for me;) I just errased the names, he had enough advertisement yet.

PS: Dear Hackers, if you are going to do a hack-attack, please leave some nice prepared pictures.
Those Word-powepoint-clipart-gifs are just cruel and an insult for the eyes.

PSS: Is it normal that hackers leave an email adress?
I thought the whole sense is to cover the tracks, am i wrong here?

Customized “Speaker Dog”
