So, as the most of you already now, i made my way to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
That is finally what i mean, when you hear me saying “home” now.

The time started out to be a really good one. I met lots of nice people and put myself to work by starting a new custom.

I met Craig Morrison who is the teacher of the “#1 on the Toronto Star’s “Coolest Schools” List
(March 17, 2011)”, The Oasis Skateboard Factory.
He invited me out to his first class for the start of the semester. Craig basically teaches them streetart and board design and wanted me to show his sudents some of my slurgs, and talk a bit. More pics after the click

To the end of the semester, i will do a collaboration with one of the students on a skateboard.
If i get the chance i will make a board myselfand to paint, display, ride or sell.

And not to forgett, we started preparing the Stickershow on Monday and continuing tomorrow at the Baitshop for the Nuitblanche which takes place from saturday oct.1, 2011 till sunrise oct 2nd, 2011.

Everyone is invited to come by and take a look at the largest sticker collection Worldwide (i suppose).
Seriously, I have never seen such a huge amount of unique stickers everywhere else.
Stickers and pasteups from all over the World are on display.
You can draw or bring your own sticker and put it up on the wall or share with the stickers existing.

Its gonna be huge, and im happy to be a part of that.

Hello my Slurgfriends.
Yesterday the “Oversized & Underpriced – Round 3″ Sticker exhibition started.
The show is running till april 30st 2011.
This time i joined the exhibition with a Slurg piece.

The Show is presenting large US Postal Stickers, which are painted by more than 50 Artists. The Artworks will be sold for a social purpose. Most of the proceeds are going to help the project Skateistan!

I am presenting you the finished Jouwe custom

On Saturday 7th of August the “XX CREW Solo show” took place with an awesome opening show. There was approximately 250 people there to join in the event. Lots of people for the little village city of Lahr, in the black forrest.
This was the second show for our crew. The first show was in essen, not long ago.

But this time the location was much better. The “Kesselhaus” is an old brick building with lots of character.
It was owened by the Reemtsma group, the producers of the german brand “Rothändle” one of the worst cigarettes… perhaps a reason why the business shut down.

It’s in a giant room with a 10-15 meter tall ceilings. Even the space downstairs is huge and made perfectly for working.
“rich” one of the crew members, know has his studio space there.

It took a week straight of hard work to prepare, do and finish paintings, drawings and a life sized german train wagon outside, with a 1:1 scale!
We finished the train just in time, which is now 26 meters long and 4 meters high.
Approximately 2 tonnes of weight and a two story scaffolding made the DB-N-Wagon.

At the “Banditen wie wir” the crew is showcasing an insight of their work.

This is the third time that DRUXS will be inviting art enthusiasts to Freiburg.
Besides the exhibition at the ISW-Freiburg facilities this year will be held in the Artcafé and the Kesselhaus in Lahr. The showcase will present a group artists with a style incorporating urban art, street art, contemporary art, new art, vector graphics and classic Illustration.
The exhibition is not just a means of sharing techniques and artistic thought, it is also a way to support and present Freiburg as a young, creative and inspirational city.

Besides the four Freiburg-Druxs artists, Cräsh, D-Cite, Holm and Nest da Foe a few more artists like Biserama, Dust, Slurg, Johannes Mundinger and Aro will showcase their art on “All eyes on Art” at the 4th December at 7:00 pm.

On December 4th, 8:00pm the „Artcafé“ shows new contemporary art by artist Tom Brane.
