XX CREW – Solo Show

Its a pity, but this Post is a little delayed. It comes with pictures and everything though.

On Saturday 7th of August the “XX CREW Solo show” took place with an awesome opening show. There was approximately 250 people there to join in the event. Lots of people for the little village city of Lahr, in the black forrest.
This was the second show for our crew. The first show was in essen, not long ago.

But this time the location was much better. The “Kesselhaus” is an old brick building with lots of character.
It was owened by the Reemtsma group, the producers of the german brand “Rothändle” one of the worst cigarettes… perhaps a reason why the business shut down.

It’s in a giant room with a 10-15 meter tall ceilings. Even the space downstairs is huge and made perfectly for working.
“rich” one of the crew members, know has his studio space there.

It took a week straight of hard work to prepare, do and finish paintings, drawings and a life sized german train wagon outside, with a 1:1 scale!
We finished the train just in time, which is now 26 meters long and 4 meters high.
Approximately 2 tonnes of weight and a two story scaffolding made the DB-N-Wagon.
